Before you sleep

Now i lay me down to sleep
i pray the lord my soul to keep
dreams of sadness stay away
please bring happy thoughts here to stay
keep the ones i love safe and sweet
bring them relaxation and relief
my friends may be out
please let them know you are about
watching and protecting their every move
let you children be soothed
and now my Lord my prayer comes to an end
every thought and trouble ends with Amen
