see those were the days
when it was just you and me
with no cares at all
see we were just free

we went everywhere together
people thought we were sisters
i mean we acted like it
we even sorta looked like it

we shared every secret
nothing was to be kept
we had inside jokes
but were growing apart
i guess its something
we have to accept

we've shared so many tears
that we've gotten through
so many fears
that have been beaten
its indescribable
whats happened over the years

you see this is the way
it used to be
dinosuars, voodoo
and the evil things we used to do

everything one liked
the other liked too
and all your pain
i always knew

as hard as it may be
to except this fate
we have to except
that we are moving on
but those were the days
