Here we are, all grown up,
We havent seen each other in years,
Its good to see you smiling now,
I last remember you in tears,

I remember our last day together,
Alice Cooper played loudly in that class,
I remember the tears in our eyes,
But we were leaving that school at last,

The sun shone down on us that day,
As we waited for our drives home and away forever,
I realized I would never see some of you again,
Thats when the emotions took over,

A lot of us would continue to high school together,
But then there were the precious few,
My friends, Ill cherish you forever,
I promise never to forget about you,

We went onto high school,
Our middle school memories, a distant daze,
I remember the drama, the fights,
From our long gone junior days,

But, tonight, here we are together,
I never thought Id see you again,
The memories come flooding back,
And I remember why you were my friend.
