I want you to know
Your Daddy Loves you
He never meant to leave Mommy
Daddy had problem
But don't we all
I don't want you growing up
All depressed like me
Please make life brighter
For yourself
It'll really help
My life was bad
And I wanted yours to be sweet
So I decided to stay out of it
I didn't wanna mess it up
I'm only not around so
You don't get hurt
I don't wanna do that to you
Whether you be boy or girl
Daddy loves you the same
I'm sure you'll hate me anyway
And you'll hide the hate inside
But please understand
Its all better this way
Just know your not a mistake
You're everything I could ask for
I'm just not the one
Who needs to raise you
You'd turn out like me
And I want better for you
