Remember how you said you'd always be there?
that you would help me through it all?
look around you, how are you helping me?
by watching me when i walk past you,
and not saying a word?
by being self-obsessed and only thinking about yourself?
i used to think you were different, kind, and actually cared.
but once i got to know you,
you weren't who i thought you were.
you're only kind to me when your friends aren't around,
as soon as they show up,
you act like i'm one in the crowd,
a face among all the rest.
