Logans lullaby

by Sian

Darling dont cry, big sisters near,
Wrap your little hand round my finger dear,
I know its new and your full of fear,
But darling dont you cry.

Mummy is sick and your both apart,
And you really didnt have a good start,
But she truely loves you from the heart,
And darling so do I.

At nineteen, it was strange to prepare for another,
In that house of ours, for a baby brother,
I know you really want our mother,
But darling im here dont cry.

These arms of mine rock you to sleep,
I'll sing to you even when I weep,
My love for you already runs deep,
Darling we'll somehow get by.
