What MUM means to me

You're the one that gave us life,
the one that taught us right from wrong.
You're the one that keeps us all close;
you're like a thread keeping us safe.
You're the brightest shining star,
watching out for us all.
You make us smile when we are down,
when nothing seems to be going right.
You assure us things will be ok,
you're the one who brought us up.
You're the reason we are a loving family.
You are the best,
but most of all,
you're my mum.
