Read this slowly, my dear friend
for there's a story, I intend
will brighten up, this very day
and make your grey skies, go astray
I wish for you to feel, today
every smile, I convey

First of all, I'd like to speak
of, last year, last month, last day, last week
to show you every blissful time
all put together, simply rhymed

Remember once, we walked a line
through seas of love, so divine

Although we may, have mixed our trust
with feelings of, profound lust
we also got to live the dream
of holding each other, to the seam

The nights we layed together
simply binded, a bird to a feather
so fragile, was our love
almost like an injured dove
we tried so deeply, to stay with peace
but, our hearts as one, were not at ease

So, we traded the smiles, in for tears
and I binded my love, by simple fears
I struggled so deeply, to get you back
but your feelings for me, were just too slack

I once heard a saying, not so small
it's better to have loved and lost
than to have never loved at all.

But you see, my dear friend
there's a message that I send
I don't believe I am at loss
for your love and mine, are at a cross

Every silent memory
and every tiny blink
I find my love for you
will not, and cannot shrink
