I allow you a punch so you choose to throttle

I try to run but you force me to crawl
you stab me with sarcasm's great thrall

I smile at you but you scold me like a child
I joke around and you act hot but mild

let's just say it's hard to get things past you
but you always accept the hardships I go through

I act like an idiot and you just smile
it makes an effect that lasts a while

you calmly correct my character flaws
you firmly slash with your sharp claws

you always think of me and listen to my words
you're willing to allow me to take seconds and thirds

you sharply rebuke but you calmly soothe
you always know when I'm out of the groove

you bring out the best and worst I can be
and you're always loving women to me
