Friends again

Too long have
we not spoken
to each other.

And now, our friendship
is rebuilding.

When I see you,
you greet me
and I do the same
in return.
You talk to me now
and I do the same.
The smiles are back
and so is the laughter.

The friend I have lost
by loving him
and whose love
wasn't returned,
has come back.

I am happy
that we are
friends again.
