Why do you hate me?
why do you ignore me,
push me away when you're
with them?

Do I embarrass you?
make you look foolish?
why do you hurt the one
who befriended you
all those years ago?

I helped you when you
needed a true friend,
someone who listens
and cares and plays.

We soared over worlds,
to adventures untold,
where no one could
hold us back.

Now your gone,
leaving me alone
to find my way
once you met
them.
