Im sorry your son is like that. It sounds like how I was a few years ago, but I matured quicker than most people. I realized I owe my mom for raising me to where I am and I should pay her back for it. I hope Michael does for you.

This is a well expressed write! Its open and honest and the reader can feel the emotions of the mother. The narrative is steady, your voice never wane, it certainly is consistent throughout this poem. The lack of gratitude and respect you spoke about to your son are the culprit in you son's bad behaviour towards you and you nailed it because you know and love him. Excellent writing!
