"I never loved enough this world, And love received - too quick did part, Till I fell in love with a beautiful soul, And learned through....to give my heart. For too little time is had on Earth, My life, too short to live, My life on Earth had little worth, For I had too much love to give."

dear friend, absolutely beautiful emotions penned you potray here.....short but meaningful...

have a great day, best wishes, bert.

While I found the imagery constant and unrelenting, the subtle use of Christian symbolism and nature of the images themselves created a soft, but persistent force. The repetition of ‘cushioned’ re-enforced and drew out this idea of persistence and force being directed in a gradual way –all of which really expounded the journey and nature of suffering and expounded the meaning of a really successful title. The poem makes the title successful, and the title makes the poem successful. I really like the way in which the title and poem rely equally upon each other, it sort of expresses and simultaneously resolves the issue of duality often at the centre of suffering, or the force driving a person to continual suffering.
