I'll start by saying that this is a good piece of writing. Even the newest of writers can tell there was strong emotion behind in and no lack of passion. In saying that I think this piece would be better suited as a letter or some kind of speech. Not to say that it isn't good, just the amount of words and how you worded it, makes me think so. Work on the structure a bit, and you'll have an even better piece of poetry.
