Very good read, though serious for the most part the closure brought a chuckle.
The only thing that I could think to change would be the use of "i" for the pronoun I, but then I'm old and it is just an opinion.

I liked how you ended it with good night. lol. I could see you turning over to the lamp and hitting the lights as it all fades to black. a 5/5 poem indeed.
